I totally prefer #XMPP over #IRC. I like it being federated and with #Conversations you have a good mobile client, also you don't need to setup a bouncer.

@nonlinear I always wonder why people still use #IRC nowadays. A chat system which can not be used mobile is weird today.

Re #twtxt #xmpp muc: It seems there is a #matrix and an #irc room but no xmpp which I would prefer. sigh
