๐บ Currently Watching: Cobra Kai Season 4 - damnit, I love this show ๐ฅ๐
My small corner of the web. Come on in.
@bender Nice! It's been a while since I've watched an old samurai movie. I should throw some up on my jellyfin.
Sunday's are for: Coffee, Spongebob, dog park, playing outside with the kid, naps, and more playing.
Thank you ๐ I was just randomly browsing profiles and came across yours. Would never have known you mentioned me ๐
Seeing it fixed on my end. Thank you ๐
Good to know! However I am still seeing double Twt on all my replies even if I donโt edit/delete
Itโs definitely possible. I tried to keep everything the same, but there was some funkiness I did when I was in GitHub. Would that also explain why some of my posts show up twice in twtxt.net when replying?
Actually, I think I know whatโs happening. The last twt in the thread is more recent than the original twt, so it appears out of order.
๐ I was looking for a client and this was so easy to get set up with. Really like it so far. I was able to get setup on my desktop and mobile devices seamlessly. I canโt quite wrap my mind around that magic. Great work! Only hiccups Iโm encountering is my feed isnโt quite chronological.
Alright, this is a test post from the twtxt.app ๐ค
@prologic ๐ Noob question, do we just do this out in the open? I can also send you an aliased email to take the conversation private.
@prologic Thanks for the heads up! I fixed my nick and corrected my reply. I'm still learning lol. I still need to get setup with a client, I'm using my timeline at the moment, but that's finicky due to CORS in the browser. By chance do you know how I would go about signing up with twtxt.net?
@bender Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't actually have a twtxt client setup yet, but you showed up in the timeline on my site: https://gabesarcade.com/?timeline - which is kind blowing my mind right now.
twtxt is awesome! How am I just discovering this?
I miss the ps2 era of gaming. Withing PS6 dropping physical discs, I'm reminded of how great it is to pop in an old ps2 game and have it run flawlessly.
Ok, so I think I've set up a good posting solution. I use twtxt to post updates. My site renders those in HTML and generates an RSS feed. The RSS feed is then cross-posted by Micro.Blog. Clean and simple.
Somedays I stop and realize what a privilege it is to be able to make games for a living. It's not a stable career. It's not an easy career. But, when things align, it's a fulfilling career.
I've been trying to figure out an easy way to write micro posts on the internet. I think I've settled on using Twxtxt as my format.
