@prologic I don't automate anything but I have sensors in every room to warn me if the humidity is too high and one in the fridge to warn if it's too warm/cold via xmpp message. It's working pretty well and was not expensive. I have fhem running on a raspberry pi which also serves other services.

Increased the limit in my twtxt botconfig to 280. @mdom, is there actually a limit for #txtnish? Didn't see a config for this.

@robbinaer I think I should also increase. 140 is often too short. I thought Twitter had also 140.

@freemor According to @Leo it is a #mastodon not a #matrix bridge. Oneway bridges just dumping here with no backchannel are pointless.

@Leo others see the URL for @ mentions of people they are not following. Probably they also added them thinking they are twtxt users.

@freemor Ah the server.gkbrk.com are from mastodon. Also dumped them as without mastodon I never knew what their tweets where about.

Sorry, for being quite noisy now but it is really fun using #twtxt over #xmpp, am very proud it somehow works even when I'm no programmer.
