@ljones caddy is really great. it's what @twtxtlist runs on
I had an interesting idea. What if you mashed up tor hidden services and @twtxt?
@kas yeah I know I need to redo a lot of #twtxtlist stuff, but my boyfriend is here this week and I'm lazy b/c of it. sorry.

Macbook surgery was successful. The patient is recovering
@plomlompom You can make your thing directly POST to twtxtlist.cf/submit if you want
@dracoblue @kas yeah the time code is pretty much FUBAR. I'm throwing it out and starting from scratch.
I think that the 140 character limit for @twtxt is kind of dumb. /cc @buckket
oops, I accidentally double-added a significant number of tweets. Thankfully I can rebuild this index!
I really would have preferred the markdown style mentions became the popular thing. Less parsing work.
@quite er I meant you https://twtxtlist.cf/users.txt

@parteigaenger I ended up making a giant list of time formats people could have been using: http://bit.ly/1TTmSxM
I think I managed to fix it. It was probably a holdover from the pre-Go time parsing/formatting
@kas it works for my really picky parser, so it's probably good overall
Oh, I just realized that @twtxtlist is the only registry so far that uses HTTP/2!
@contraultra it was no problem. i really need to fing out a way to make that experience better though.
@kas Yeah I agree. That's why the @twtxtlist code doesn't really have any limit for tweet length.
@kdy fish is nice mainly because of the syntax highlighting
@buckket https://matrix.org for more info, https://vector.im/beta for a shiny client. There's a weechat script too
@buckket I set up a matrix room at #twtxt:matrix.org
@kopachris You should try Fish as a shell, specifically using https://github.com/fisherman/fisherman
@kdy I kinda hope people don't mess with the timestamp, I use it as part of a UNIQUE constraint in the database for my site: https://git.xeserv.us/xena/twtxtlist/src/master/src/twtxtlist.nim#L14-L20
I hope this thing is at least pretending to be more robust now
My site has made me really lazy with how I follow people on twtxt
I might have to rewrite the tweet parsing stuff, it's pretty janky atm
a nice side effect of all this is that you can reconstruct the data instantly, so my sqlite database can actually be quite volatile
@samthy not yet, but there will be in about an hour or two. I'll do it by hand for now.
I had this jack thing and it tasted like farts but it was so good

Ordered macbook parts for when @scootaloose comes over
@kopachris it might be better to just abuse h's site
I made a website archiving quotes saved in h: https://quotes.greedo.xeserv.us
@kopachris it would be really for discovery and peeking at people's timelines I think
